In a 2013 national poll the anemone was chosen as Israel’s national flower. In winter it paints the fields red, and in a vase it keeps growing and bending toward the light. Our anemones are commercially grown; wild anemones are protected by law.
How to care
Water
Anemones are thirsty. Use cool water and top up daily to two-thirds of the vase.
Placement
Somewhere cool, away from heaters and air-conditioning. Blooms open in light and close at night.
Trimming
Trim 1–2 cm every two days on an angle with a sharp knife.

Why do anemones close at night?
It’s natural behaviour. They open again in the morning light.
Can I order anemones in summer?
Anemones are mainly a winter flower. Out of season we’ll suggest ranunculus or another seasonal flower.
